By car and the Syltshuttle departing from Niebüll
You drive with your car, camper or motorcycle to Niebüll, situated at the Nort Frisian Mainland. There you will need to go on the car train and cross the Hindenburgdamm. By train
Westerland is a IC-Station, the arrival by train is possible with many direct train routes from all over Germany. From Hamburg-Altona departs the Nord-Ostsee-Bahn on a regular basis (hourly). Schedules and price at www.bahn.de
By car and the Sylt ferry from Römö/DK
The new RoRo-Ferry “SyltExpress” operates between the Danish peninsular Römö and List/Sylt. The ferry has space for 80 cars and 600 passengers. The tour takes 40 minutes. On board a comfortable restaurant and a Travel Value Shop await you. Schedules and more information at www.syltfaehre.de
By plane
You cannot get to the island quicker: Planes do not just depart from German Cities such as Berlin Cologner/Bonn, Stuttgart or Munich but also from Zurich or Vienna.
