Situated in idyllic dune scenery in the South, on the Island of Sylt, lies Hörnum's camp site; directly on the mile long, white-sanded beach. Thus, sunbathing is just a few metres from your pitch, as well as swimming (with or without swimming clothes) or water sports such as surfing. The camp site for tents is directly embedded in the landscape formed by dunes; the places for caravans are on the bordering dunes. A restaurant opened in May 2007, serving an extensive choice of food and beverages as well as snacks and has shopping facilities. There is a meal hall on the camp site for groups.
